Atrial fibrillation (AF) is one of the commonest arrhythmias observed in general practice. The thromboembolic complications of AF include transient ischemic attack, stroke, and pulmonary embolism. Early recognition of AF can lead to early intervention with managing the risks of these complications. The primary aim of this study is to investigate if patients are managed in general practice according to current national guidelines. South Korea has been providing 10-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine/(PCV10)/13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) to children and 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine (PPSV23) to older adults as part of a national immunization program. From September 2015 to August 2017, a prospective cohort study was conducted for adults aged≥19years with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) at four university hospitals. All-cause and pneumococcal CAP incidence and mortality rates were evaluated on the basis of hospital catchment population. Serotype distribution of pneumococcal CAP was also evaluated. Among 2669 patients with CAP, 252 cases (9.4%) were pneumococcal CAP cases. The annual incidences of all-cause and pneumococcal CAP were 194.3 cases and 18.3 cases respectively, per 100,000 persons. Serotyped Streptococcus pneumoniae was identified in 107 cases (42.5%) through culture or a serotype-specific urinary antigen detection assay. High health literacy (HL) is important to optimise health outcomes, particularly for older people (who are substantial consumers of health services) and their adult caregivers. The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate measurement properties of HL instruments tested with these population groups. Six databases (MEDLINE (OVID); CINAHL; EMBASE (OVID); PsycInfo; Scopus; Cochrane Library) were searched for studies evaluating eight measurement properties of HL tools administered to older people or their caregivers. Only studies evaluating multi-domain self-report HL tools were included in analyses, using the COSMIN methodology. From 4261 unique papers located, 11 met inclusion criteria; six reported measurement properties of three HL self-report tools administered to older people (HLQ, eHEALS, and HeLMS) so are reported in this review, none involved caregiver samples. The HLQ and HeLMS were rated "moderate," and eHEALS "low" for tool development. The HLQ, examined in four included studies, had the hig/or their caregivers are needed. Specifically, semihydrogenation of terminal alkynes has been more challenging than internal alkenes even using Lindlar catalysts. Also, the high reduction degree state metal-supported catalysts like Pd0/C, Pt0/C, and Ru0/C have been well-known to be used widely in hydrogenation due to their super activity. However, charcoal can absorb a large amount of water; Pd/C with 50% water is convenient on a large-scale synthesis. Charcoal generally bears oxygen groups on its surface, which are responsible for low selectivity and undesired products. Even typically, only 10-60% of the Pd metal atoms are exposed, they still suffer from poor stability in acids owing to leaching. Herein, we intend to design active and stable metal catalysts with features as the following to avoid leaching having strong interaction with the support and coordinatively unsaturated metal sites or low valence state metals physically isolated from the acid environment. Herein, a highly efficient semihydrogenation of terminal alkynes to produce alkenes has been realized using a heterogeneous Pd(II)/POP-GIEC catalyst, imine-linked, crystalline, and porous organic polymer supporter modified by coordination of Pd(OAc)2 to its walls under mild conditions. Surprisingly, for the first time, modified POP-supported low reduction degree PdII catalysts were synthesized efficiently, and they were successfully used in semihydrogenation of terminal alkynes. The substrate scope was studied and included both unfunctionalized as well as functionalized substituents on the para, ortho, and meta position of aromatic alkynes. The substrate having a substituent with the functionality of fluoro protected at the meta position was semihydrogenated with a high alkyne conversion of 100% and olefin selectivity (up to 99%).
